Fenerbache are in talks for the transfer of Tottenham Hotspur target Sofiane Feghouli, according to The Hürriyet of Turkey.

The Turkish club’s new manager Vitor Pereira is a big fan of Feghouli and wants to bring him to Istanbul this summer. The club’s sporting director Giuliano Terraneo has made contact with the Spanish club to come to an agreement.

The Turkish outlet claim that Valencia want €10 million for the Algerian who helped his country to the round of 16 in the 2014 World Cup, losing to eventual champions Germany.

It is also suggested in the report that Tottenham sent scouts to watch the attacking midfielder earlier this year but are yet to make an offer.

Feghouli was a key figure for Valencia last season and will be again if the club can resist advances from Turkey.

Fenerbache have made 8 signings so far in this transfer window including the high-profile purchases of Nani and Robin Van Persie from Manchester United.

Last season the 25-year-old made 33 appearances in La Liga with six goals and six assists.
